Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, the day we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died for my sins and for your sins, so we all can have eternal life with Him. No matter how hard mankind tries to get back on God's good side, we simply cannot overcome the sin that separates us from God. The answer is sacrifice. God the Father sacrificed His Son, Jesus, for our sake. "But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities: the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed'. Isiah 53:5 I am looking forward to tomorrow morning to celebrate His Resurrection from the dead for my salvation.

We recently had the privilege to attend the open house for the newly renovated Casa at RIN in Reynosa, Mexico. This is all part of the Project Makeover Mi Casa - a renovation project to remodel the 35 years old homes at the refuge. Our houseparents (Tias and Tios) are very important to us, and so we are trying to provide the very best Casa for them and the children. There were two vans full of volunteers and sponsors, some of whom had never been to the refuge before. The drivers and their wives were the tour guides who lead the group through the entire facility, and I am so glad we knew all of the answers to the many questions that we were asked.

There are very few people here in the park - we are perhaps one of the last ones to leave, which we will be doing at the end of this month. Our Chaplain Dennis and Sally Maloney will spend the summer months here, serving where they are called. Sally truly has a green thumb and everything she touches grows beautifully.

no pictures are complete without Sam, the arrogant Maloney cat!
As we were sitting outside early this morning with our coffee, just enjoying the creation of God, these two morning doves landed on a neighbor's roof, and started cooing and kissing, As I tried to sneak up and take a better picture, they very quietly and quickly moved into the seclusion of the trees. We could still hear them cooing but could not see their courting.

We hope all of you have a very blessed Easter Sunday, remembering the greatest sacrifice of all.
